You've been in my heart and prayers since coming upon your blog.

I've recently read up on Trisomy 18 and was saddened by the diagnosis. I am still praying that baby Maddox is an unexplainable miracle in the medical community upon his arrival tonight.

And I am still praying it is "uneventful" in that there are no "emergencies" or "concerns" at the birth.

Please know that we are standing in the gap for you just as it says in Ezekiel.

Your story has touched my heart. Praying for miracles from Ohio! God does perform miracles! In September my sister had gotten shocking news from her doctor about severe abnormalities in her pregnancy/baby. They tested the baby for chromosome disorders which they were sure he had but they all came back negative however he had 2 very severe heart defects and they gave him a very poor prognosis. There was little chance he would live. But, to make a long story short, Grady is here today. He was born on 9/13, the doctors couldn't believe how well he was doing with his bad defects they said that no other baby born as prematurely, as tiny as he was, with this severe a defect had ever made it. Even the doctor's call him the miracle baby and they say God is smiling on him. At 4 weeks old however the doctor's told my sister & her husband they could no longer do anything else for Grady. The options were comfort care (letting him die) or putting him on a transplant list. Our chances were not very good that he would get a heart because of how tiny he was and finding a good match. Well, God saw fit once again to do a miracle, on Nov. 1st Grady got a new heart. The doctor's didn't only find a heart they found a PERFECT MATCH which they didn't have happen before. Grady is still in the hospital recovering and growing and is getting close to being able to come home.

I don't know what God's plan is for your baby Maddox, but I do know He has a plan for him. I also know from experience that HE can and DOES perform miracles today. Whatever God's plan is for you & your son I pray that you would cherish every moment you have with him. Once again I'm praying for a miracle for you.
In His love,
Rosy

We don't know each other, but I've been following your blog for some time now. My parents go to church & bible study with your parents and I went to school with your sister Morgan. I wanted you to know that your faith has been such an inspiration to me and to many others whom I have shared your blog with. Maddox has touched so many lives even before entering this world. My husband and I have been praying without ceasing for your family, and will continue to do so. I pray that God grants you peace beyond what you can imagine and I continue to pray for a miracle for your little Maddox.

My heart aches for your loss. Please thank Sue for sending me the update.

I can not begin to cope or truly know the grief you must experience, but your faith and love and constant praise to God, in all things, brings me so much inspiration.

I know I will be reading of all the blessings among the sorrow. Like his making it to 3 lbs. :)

You have done well "good and faithful servants".
