It's Baby Time...

This is Dusty. I'm very excited to be posting on Kenzie's blog...but I'm even more excited to let everyone know that today around 3:30pm, Kenzie's water broke and she was transferred to Labor & Delivery, where we are currently awaiting the arrival of Ms. Faith Clare. Things are going very well (her epidural is working well...but not too well) and her mom and sister made it in from Nebraska last night . The nurse estimated that she thinks ETA should be sometime around 9pm...guess we'll see. Thanks to everybody for your continued prayers. I will make sure to keep everyone updated over the next few hours and will try and make another entry sometime tonight. And oh yeah, since I never get to post on the blog, here are a few random thoughts...
It'll be soooo nice to have Kenzie back (finally some clean underwear!)...I'm not too thrilled about the new Prez...Deacon has been really funny the last few weeks...Still not 100% sure how I feel about all the pink in my house...Firehouse subs has a new brisket sandwich that is AWESOME...I think Oklahoma is going to beat Texas Tech and finally...baby Faith has told me through telepathy that she really likes cookie cake...mmmmmm cookie cake!

I am praying for an uneventful delivery!! Looking forward to seeing a picture of that beautiful baby girl.. I think it is so neat that your daughter and niece are going to be so close in age. Once again, God has shown His amazing Love by spacing their births out enough that Grandma could welcome both sweet babies into the world!!

I pray as I go to sleep, in the hope that when I wake up the news will be of a delighted Mum, Dad, brother with a safe arrival of Miss Faith Clare.

Dusty you are so funny!!! You poor husband's never really get a chance to blog unless we women are in the hospital bed, LOL. Please tell Kenzie thank you so much for the text message tonight. I am so excited and certainly wish I lived a little closer than 14 hours away to be there for this very special moment. I have constantly been praying for everyone as you all await the birth of Faith Claire. I know Kenzie has had a lot of different emotions the last few days, especially remembering your precious little boy Maddox, but I am praying that when Faith's birth happens she will be fully in the moment. I know she is so grateful for all the Lord has done in your lives this year, what a testimony your family has been. Tell her I love her and can't wait to see pictures.

I love you sweet friend!!!!

OK, praying for Kenzie, and excited/nervous/excited, and then I get here to check for an update, and I find Dusty's wandering thoughts! Cracking me up!

Love you Kenzie! And I love seeing a bit of a glimpse of what you are up against at home. I know you cannot wait to be home, a family, sitting on your bed with your blessings all around you.

Please, Dusty. Don't make us wait too long for pictures! You can even give us more sport predictions and political updates, if you intersperse it with PHOTOS!

(Listen to me, telling you what you should write on Kenzie's (your new) blog!

Kenzie,
I have been following your blog for quite a while. I love your honesty and your knowledge of scripture. I'll never forget your post "Give me the wisdome not to waste this". You are an unbelievable writer! I am soooo excited about Faith's arrival. My goal is to know scripture as well as you do. No matter what the situation, you always seem to know a scripture that is perfect. You really have inspired me to memorize more scripture. Thank you. You have no idea how your story has impacted me in so many ways.

Praying for you! I can't wait to meet Miss Faith Clare via your blog soon!
Isn't it amazing that your 'goal' was 36 weeks and that is when the Lord had planned for your precious daughter to be born?! When I checked in tonight and saw the post about you being in labor I couldn't help but think about that!!
And when I was pregnant with our 3rd, just for fun we would ask our daughter who was 2 at the time when her brother would be born and she always said 'Tuesday'! And sure enough he was born on a Tuesday!!

Blessings to you all!

Thanks for the update! Can hardly wait to see pictures of your new little one! Hope all is well there...it's nearly 9:30, so it will be interesting to see how good the nurse is at "guessing" the time of Faith Clare's arrival.

Take care,
