I'm so glad to see you finding joy in things. I haven't commented before, but I've been reading your story, and cried for you the whole way through. God bless.

These pictures are beautiful Kenzie, every one of them. Deacon is so precious and I know he brings much joy to your life. I carry Maddox in my heart with all of the other babies that have stole my heart big time. Praying for you every day.

Kenzie- I had my response ready in my mind before getting to the end of your post. I was going to tell you how I know JUST what brings your joy... your boyS. It's so obvious.

But then I found myself reading the scripture at the end. And I've read it SEVERAL times before but tonight what stuck with me was PATIENT IN AFFLICTION.

We all know we will endure things that aren't easy- what we're told is to be patient throughout them. Were we to wish or will them past us- we'd miss out on all God is doing in us in this time of "affliction" that makes us ultimately, more like Him.

(As I say this I am having the worst muscle pain I've had in months, primarily my back, reminding MYSELF to be patient as I walk this path of Lyme Disease. God is trustworthy and has a great plan laid for me.)

Anyway, thanks for your post today friend. And your many kind words on my site as well.

In Him,
Chelle'

* Oh and lest I forget- you are beautiful!!! As is your family. Great family picture.

I continue to think of you and pray for all of you, daily.

Your story, and the others, have given me a solid argument for a Colorado amendment to be voted on in November, stating life begins at conception. Of course Planned Parenthood is against it, but in relating your story, no one has been able to argue.

Though Maddox returned home way to soon, you made it evident that every moment within you was as precious as that brief moment he entered the world.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures of life and hope and God's beauty. Your family!

Dear Kenzie,
I know you don't know me, but I visited your blog today. My brother and sister-in-law were recently blessed with a beautiful baby girl (Zoe) who has Trisomy 18. I want to commend you for your great faith and trust in the Lord. You are a wonderful example of strength, given only through Jesus. He HAS most definitely blessed you, and through you...He's blessed so many others. Thank you for showing your love for Jesus in such a beautiful way.
Friends in Christ,
Charis (Aunt to Zoe)
(ps-my brother, too, has set up a family blog (batiansila.blogspot.com), a lot of which has recently been focused on his newest blessing, Zoe.)
Thinking of you tonight sweet friend. Praying for us all.
Love,
Kim

How beautiful your family is! Thank you so much for your offer of support and prayer for baby Zoe and her family. You are truly an example of how big God really is - to reach beyond the pain and tears and feel the joy. Your words spoke to my heart. May He continue to shower you with His love and peace.
I will be praying for your family also.
