Introducing...
Our precious baby boy, Scout Rex, arrived yesterday morning (9/23/10)! We are so thankful for his beautiful entrance into this world, celebrating his health, and honestly... his sweet perfection.
He weighed 7lbs 13ozs and was 20 inches long. At 37 1/2 gestation, he is a healthy-sized boy and we are praising God for growing him so well. As is apparent by their sweet faces, his big brother and big sister are thrilled and can't wait for him to come home. He is such a mix of all of our children, including his big brother Maddox, and for that, we are so very grateful. He is precious... we are totally in LOVE!
"The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever-- do not abandon the works of your hands."- Psalm 138:8

Congratulations, Kenzie! He is beautiful! Love the photo of Deacon and Faith with him. How precious your children are. In the first photo, his mouth looks just like little Faith's did. And I can see how he also resembles Deacon and Maddox.
May you have rest and refreshment in the midst of your joyously busy home. And I'm thrilled for you and Dusty.
LOVE you Kenz. He is awesome.
With love and prayers,
Andrea
Love and Hugs, Laurie
I read religiously but never really comment on anything but I want to thank you for the way you have bought us into your lives, into your journey with Maddox and now your newest family member Scout.
I found your blog by accident, about a year ago, and found myself reading Maddox's story with tears in my eyes and the thoughts that I could never endure what your family had. Just two weeks later I was told my unborn daughter Ariana was terminally ill and would never be born alive. (Her story is on my blog under the "ariana" link should you be interested).
Your blog showed me how people do move forward, how even in the worst circumstances love makes things easier and let me see, how I too could havigate a nightmare I could not imagine.
Thankyou for sharing your story with the world, for showing your faith, and your courage. It helped me, and continues to do so.
Enjoy your little man! He is Perfect.

I loved reading the comments, because Maddox's story continues to reach others.
