Jesus Draw Me Ever Nearer

JESUS DRAW ME EVER NEARER

Jesus, draw me ever nearer
As I labor through the storm;
You have called me to this passage,
And I'll follow, though I'm worn.

May this journey bring a blessing.
May I rise on wings of faith;
And at the end of my heart's testing,
With Your likeness let me wake.

Jesus guide me through the tempest
Keep my spirit staid and sure;
When the midnight meets the morning,
Let me love You even more.

May this journey bring a blessing.
May I rise on wings of faith;
And at the end of my heart's testing,
With Your likeness let me wake.

Let the treasures of the trial
Form within me as I go -
And at the end of this long passage
Let me leave them at Your throne.

By Keith and Kristyn Getty~ Ireland.

 My mother-in-law shared these beautiful lyrics with me and I felt compelled to share them.  God is so faithful and these words remind me that He will use each experience to mold us more in the image of Him as we fully trust in His plan for our lives.

"You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the miraculous signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out..."- Deuteronomy 7:19

Prayers continue for you and baby Faith.

The words you shared are so beautiful. So true.

Hang in there, Kenzie! I am thinking there will be days/nights you will look back on this bedrest thing and sigh! It's not fun when you HAVE to do it and sounds wonderful when you CAN'T!
Of course, anything is worth keeping your beautiful Faith tucked right under your heart as she continues to grow.

May God bless you in this moment, sweet Kenzie.
Love,
Kathy

God has so many encouraging, uplifting and strengthing words to share with you during your difficult times. I know He has them, but sometimes it's hard to find them when you need them. I'm glad those words were shared with you. I especially like Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

I wish you strength, peace, comfort and rest during this long wait to welcome your beautiful new little one. I look forward to all your updates and keep you in my prayers.

Absolutely beautiful! Praise God for all He is doing through you! In case you haven't heard from this family, they could use all our prayers as they wait to welcome their beautiful T18 son in just a few short weeks.
