The Results...

are not in... The sample didn't make it in one piece and the results were tainted; soooo, we will be repeating it tomorrow. As many of you who have been in a similar situation have commented, it is probably a good reminder not to place too much weight on the FFT, or any test for that matter. We know that God is totally in control and He knows the exact plan for us and Faith Clare's arrival.

I have been semi-comfortable today as I fluctuate between a higher dose of magnesium and chest tightness and a lower dose and more frequent contractions. They continue to evaluate our options and we'll see what this evening holds. Last night we had a few scary moments of frequent, hard contractions so we're praying those don't reoccur.

I can't even begin to express how thankful we are for all the prayers, calls, texts, posts for prayer, and the beautiful comments of encouragement, scripture and love! Thank you for lifting our family to the Lord and bringing our names before Him. As you know we have been in "unforeseen" situations before... ones that we never expected... but our Father has faithfully and steadily carried us through. We trust fully that He will again fulfill His promises.

"For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."- Romans 8:24-25

I ran across your blog off of another site...and wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. I looked back on your posts. What an amazing heart you have and such lovely pictures of Maddox. I help run a perinatal hospice program here in California and have met many parents expecting babies with tris 18. Can I share you site with them?
Be strong now for little Faith.

Once again, amazed and encouraged by your positive attitude, peace and absolution of God's plan for your life-even in these circumstances. How uplifting. What examples you've been in sharing your journey with all of us.

I recently found your blog through the CF Husband's blog. I, too, went into labor with my daughter at 26 weeks. The doctor told me I'd probably deliver within 2 weeks. I was on Magnesium (wonderful stuff..isn't it :) ). I stayed pregnant for 10 more weeks! God is in control. Whether Faith is born today or 10 or more weeks from now God is still good and His love will carry you through.

Hi, I'm new to your blog, but not new to praying. I took a break from my preparation for my lesson tomorrow for children's church which is on faith like a grain of mustard seed to check in on mycharmingkids and found her link here. ... I'm speaking, and trusting, and praying. God does the doing! Praise be to Him!

All God's best,
The world is praying for you! It's amazing how much of an impact little Faith has already had on this earth. Stay strong...
Thanks for the update...still praying! ( :
I found your blog through another site but wanted you to know that you and your family is in our prayers. I gave birth to my first son at 27 weeks 4 days after having contractions for about a week and a month on bedrest. God has a plan for all of us and he will not let you down! Faith is growing bigger and stronger everyday and no matter what happens I have 'faith' she will do awesome! Have you been given the steriod shot to help speed up her lung maturity of the baby? If not, I would ask about it as it has shown to have a significant impact on the development of a preemie's lungs at birth. Good luck and God Bless!

Tracey
Sigh... but it's good to hear from you. I'm still praying.

Kenzie. I just wanted to let you know I have been thinking of you. I think Karli is probably tired of me asking how you are doing.
I just wanted to say that no matter what, you are doing the best for that little girl in there. I know you know this, but sometimes it's nice to hear. I'm praying you make it to 27wks and beyond!

And then there is me who got a negative but delivered 5 days later.

God is watching over you and your lil girl! You are doing a GREAT job! The mag is HORRIBLE stuff...

Hang in there! If you want to talk to someone who has been there twice before, feel free to email me!

I read your blog each day, and yet, I have never posted. I came across your blog MONTHS ago through Emily's site. She has become my "blogger" friend and I wanted to let you know that I am lifting you and your beautiful family up in prayer. You have an amazing family and an amazing God to guide you through. God bless you...I will pray for you, Faith Clare, Deacon, and Dusty....I know you have a precious angel in Maddox and I am certain he too, has God's ear.
Praying and thinking of you this evening.

Oh girl, your faithfulness is awe inspiring. And I know it is only because your God is that powerful and His Spirit is sustaining you and living mightily in you now. He's still on the throne... and I'm talking to Him all the time about you and your sweet girl. Of course we're eager to meet her, but I am praying we have to wait a while longer. I'm praying for your peace, for the power of our prayers to cover you like armor, and for wisdom for your doctors. I'm praying for all the details concerning your sweet family to be ironed out and for the body of Christ to lift you up as only they can. If there is ANYTHING you need from this girl, you better not hesitate.

Where is that prayer pager now?!?

I left you a message earlier, and I just checked now for any updates. Oh my, I know how you are feeling right now with the magnesium. I had placenta previa with my firstborn, and I started having major contractions (and horrible bleeding) at 31 weeks (and that's when I went on the mag. drip).

Although I continued to have contractions up until the end, I didn't give birth to my son until I was 37 weeks. So, I just wanted to send some peace, love and encouragement your way. God bless you, and protect you, and watch over you and Faith at this moment, and always.

Kenzie,

We were gone for a day and I am just now getting home--I rushed in my office to get on the computer to see how you were doing, and unfortuately, it doesn't seem that you are doing as well as I hoped.

Please know that I am on my knees for you tonight, as I have been for so long now....and I will continue to be every day from here on out until that sweet girl is here, healthy, and in your arms--hopefully several weeks from now!!

Love you much and praying even more....

Thank you for your continued faith. I am praying for you, no contractions, no side effects from the nasty Mag. Sulfate (I was on it for 1 week before my oldest was born at 29 weeks), that you can keep Faith "cooking" much longer, strength for your wonderful husband, and understanding for Deacon. Your family has been through so much. Thank you for sharing your journey and letting us know that we are not alone in our grief.

We serve such a mighty God who is so ABLE to do mighty things. May you be encouraged by his "bigness". My littlest child loves the song "My God is so BIG, so strong and so mighty, There's NOTHING my God can not do!" May he do BIG things for you today.

I am praying that baby Faith will be able to stay safe in her mommys womb and grow stronger every day. She just cannot wait to get out and meet her mommy, huh? She is going to be fiesty I bet. Even if by chance she is delivered early, I know God will carry you through and the amazing medical technology will give her a fighting chance.
I know people hate when you say these kind of things but.... i had a classmate in graduate school whose daughter delivered twins at 22 weeks and they are healthy and thriving and completely developmentally on track.
God bless you and your family.

Kenzie,

I have been following your story for some time now, courtesy of cfhusband pointing his readers in this direction. I wanted to let you know I am praying for Faith's safe arrival and good health whenever she decides to come! I am praying that her birthday is weeks from now, however.

I wanted to share a sotry of hope with you. My daughter was born at 28 weeks weighing just over a pound. She is my second child, my first, a son, plays in heaven with your sweet Maddox! We were so scared but were blanketed with a surreal peace upon her arrivl. Everything felt like it would be ok, and it was. She spent a long time in the NICU and on oxygen but today she is a happy (most of the time) chubby, healthy, 18 month old!

There is hope for a a wonderful outcome here and I am praying so hard that you get that.

Peaceful thoughts and hugs coming our way today and everyday.

Kenzie,

Our pastor spoke about Praise today in church and how we should praise God when we are being attacked by Satan because praise is a pathway to God's power. I am praising God that you have such a strong faith in Him and knowing that He will see you through this. I don't know that there is much I can say that you haven't already heard, but please know that I am praying for you and all of your family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

". . . give thanks to the Lord; His faithful love endures forever!" 2 Chron 20:21
