I'm finally here and have a little access to the blog right now. Thank you SO MUCH for all of your prayers for our family. Faith Clare seems to be doing well with a steady heartbeat and she is moving quite a bit, aside from when I'm having regular contractions.
They have moved my magnesium sulfate levels up and down several times trying to find the right balance of effectiveness and the least amount of nausea. Right now I'm at a level that is causing me some difficulty breathing and they are thinking about changing the medication altogether soon. Thankfully the doctors and nurses have been wonderful and they've all been really informative.
Right now I would ask you to PLEASE be praying that the test they just ran will be negative. It's called a fetal fibronectin test. It basically checks the cervical cells and lining and will give an indication as to if they expect Faith to arrive in the next 2-3 weeks. If it is negative, there is virtually no chance she will come in that time frame, but if it's positive, there is a 20% or higher that she will. Today we are thinking negative! : ) Hopefully we'll have some initial results in about 3 hours.
Right now we aren't sure how long we'll be in the hospital. My doctor isn't on call this weekend so when I talked to her yesterday she said I will at least be here through Monday. Please continue praying that my body will stay calm and give Faith Clare more time to grow. Also, pray for logistical stuff for our family, Deacon's understanding of what is going on, and for all the extra burden this places on Dusty. We are so blessed by your prayers, love, friendship & service!

I'm praising God for every moment He keeps Faith safe inside of you. Praying for unwaivering belief that every fiery dart the enemy launches your way is extinguished by your sheild of faith. Praying for God's peace to fill your body and spirit as you rest in His faithful promises. He is doing a mighty work in you! Praise His name! :)
Faithfully,
Andrea
I have a history of preterm labor with my last two boys so I have an understanding of how scary the whole situation can be. Please feel free to email me if you'd like. Also there is a community of absolutely amazing women at www.sidelines.org - they are all on varying forms of bedrest for different reasons. They literally kept me sane at times during my last pregnancy.
I hope you can find a balance during this difficult time. Good luck and God bless! *hugs*
God is Faithful.
May you have Peace and Comfort while knowing He is in control!!!
You and baby Faith are in my prayers. I pray God's grace and covering will be with you(and the rest of your family) and that he strengthens and brings the peace that passes all understanding.

on my knees praying for you, sweet baby Faith, Dusty & Deacon. May our gracious Lord continue to be with you all during this time of so many "unknowns". Remember that you are in the hands of the Great Physician.
I stand in awe of the God we serve; his blessings are pouring forth as the gates of Heaven are being stormed with prayers for you from all over the world!

With love from Michigan!
You are in our thoughts often and in our prayers regularly.
Baby Faith is just a little anxious, isn't she. We pray that the docs can find the right combination to keep her steady.
And we know that God is by your side.
Let us know if we can help in any way...food, Deacon sitting,..whatever.
Love all four of you....

I have never met you but you must be an amazing friend and prayer warrior to so many! I have lost count now, how many other people have asked for prayer for you this week on their blogs! I mean, I wasn't surprised to see one or two, especially the ones you went to Atlanta with but I have seen 10 or 15 blogs asking for prayer for you the past couple of days. And I'm sure there are plenty more. I hope that is an encouragement to you, not only that many, many people are praying for you and Faith but also that you are VERY much loved by VERY many people. You obviously have made a huge impact on the people you've come in contact with! That really says something about your heart and what an amazing person you are. Thank you for letting God use you to touch so many.
Of course my family is praying for you like crazy too:-)

I've been thinking about you all day. I just got home and ran in to check on you before I headed out again - I will be praying for NEGATIVE results. You know that we (the brown t-shirt club) are "carrying your mat" right??? We are sweet friend. Keep trusting in our Lord, we have certainly learned this past year that even though things are not going as we think they should that He is in control and will never leave you. Praying for you constantly.
I love you, Yvette

Praying for negative results!! I know it's hard while in the hospital but thank you so much for the updates. I have been on pins and needles, keep checking my cell phone and every chance I get I come to the computer to check on you and sweet Faith! I said all that not to put any pressure on you but to hopefully let you know how very much I care about you, how much I love you and how much we are praying!
My thoughts are constantly with you!
Love,
Kim
Sincerely,

I'm keeping you in my family in my thoughts and prayers. I went into labor at 25 weeks with my now 16 year old son. I too had Magnesium Sulfate and had some issues with my breathing because of it- but once they straightened that out and stopped the preterm labor, they sent me home on bed rest. My son was born 1 day early, early in the morning on Christmas Eve in 1991. Today he is a 16 year old strong, healthy, happy young man.
Hang in there, and like others have said - take it one day at a time.

Don't rely on that test 100% if they are negative. My test came up negative and 2 days later I delivered at 30 weeks. All turned out well in the end but too much weight was put on that test. When I called my doctor to tell her I was in labor even she didn't believe it because I had just tested positive :(
Please don't put all your faith in this test they just gave you. I had that same test, the results came back negative and I gave birth 2 days later--at 27 weeks. I'm proud to say that my "27 weeker" will be turning 6 years old in a few weeks though :)
You are in my prayers, I'm so worried about you.

Be strong!
I was directed to your blog from a message left on CFHusband. Over the past couple of hours I have been reading as much as I can about your story and just wanted you to know I am praying for you. A sweet coincidence that we were both married on July 19th, though my husband and I were just married this year. You are in our thoughts.

I had to go back to Chrissy's blog to be sure I was remembering correctly, but since she had that test with Eva and it was positive AND Eva stayed inside much longer than the test predicted, ....OK, so we'll pray about that test, but mostly I'm praying and resting in the fact that all the testing in the world just cannot tell us how God is gonna surprise us with His best. So I'm praying for the peace you need, and for the labor to stop (who needs a labor that goes on for days and they keep trying to stop it?), and for some nice, probably much-needed time for YOU to rest in bed and allow the body of Christ to minister to you.
Knowing how hard Mallorie's hospitalizations were on our other children, I am especially praying for your sweet Deacon, that he will have such an abundance of attention and love from all areas, and chances to cuddle with you, and maybe some sweet presents that make him smile (I have a little idea how the Body works!).
I love you, and wish I could be there doing something.
love, connie
God Bless
Remember that every day she' on the "inside" is a victory.
I'm still praying.
I have followed your blog for quite some time, prayed for you often but have never posted. Wanted to let you know that I have been uplifted and amazed by your blog and you have been a big encouragment in my walk with God.
thanks...
I’m sure that Faith Clare is overly anxious to meet the world; we pray that she will hold tight for a while longer.
Our love and hugs to you all!
